The Maine 2nd Congressional District is the second most rural district in the country and the largest east of the Mississippi. In 2016 Donald Trump won it by 10%.

When Jared Golden won his seat in 2018 it was the first time an incumbent had lost the district since 1916. And it was the first time a federal election had been decided by ranked voting.

Jared Golden was born and raised in the district he now represents. He is a Marine Corps veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan before returning home to serve his district in the state legislature.

Our early support for Jared will enable him to hire staff, discourage challengers and focus on serving the people of the Maine 02.
